As Grants Manager, Jane oversees all NAC grants including follow-up with grantees, reports, payments and distribution of funds, and e-Grant support. She is a member of both NAC's administrative and program staff teams and participates in multiple agency services and initiatives.
Originally from Shanghai, China, Jane grew up in a family of three generations of artists, where she started to receive formal Chinese painting and drawing lessons at age five. She started her career in Asia Media and rotated across vastly different jobs as part of leadership in companies, universities and arts organizations, both in Shanghai and the United States. Before coming to the United States, Jane served as director of the Dean's Office at the Business School of Shanghai University for four years. After that, she moved to the United States and served as an art professor at the University of Kentucky, was a fundraising officer at Inkululeko Inc. at Syracuse of New York, and worked at the Culture Engagement Office of Syracuse University. She has a B.A. in Historical Culture & Tourism and a M.A. in Education Economics & Management. She received her second Master Degree in Arts Leadership Administration from Syracuse University of New York.
