The state's professional dance company, American Midwest Ballet, showcases the artistry, energy and athleticism of professional dance in Momentum, an exciting mixed-repertory performance that highlights the versatility and expressive range of ballet. A lively collection of short dance works in a variety of styles, Momentum is both an ideal introduction for first-time viewers and a fascinating showcase for experienced dance-goers. The mixed-repertory format helps assure that the program will appeal to audience demographics and interests. Optional additional services including school performances, classroom workshops and master classes are available to build community-wide support.
Technical requirements: American Midwest Ballet is adaptable and will work creatively with presenters to find appropriate ways to bring the company repertory to their audiences. Specifications below are for an ideal space; programs can be adapted for other spaces.
