Prints of the UNO Print Workshop features 130 prints by more than 90 nationally and regionally known artists such as Vito Acconci, Phillip Pearlstein, Ed Pascke, Karen Kunc, Keith Jacobshagen, Jun Kaneko and Kent Bellows. The prints include works in traditional mediums of woodcut, intaglio, lithography and silkscreen, as well as other mediums such as monoprint, photogravure and digital printing.

The collection represents one of the most significant bodies of work produced in Nebraska. It includes artists from very diverse backgrounds and aesthetic philosophies that have come to the University of Nebraska at Omaha from many locations to collaborate with the workshop. The range of mediums and methods of production are as diverse as the artists themselves. The philosophy of the workshop is to produce a work that is the highest quality representation of that artist’s work and to use the medium of the artist’s choice to accomplish that end. The result is a collection of prints that reflect the contemporary history of printmaking.

Technical requirements: The collection is framed and ready to hang for most venues. The prints encompass a variety of sizes, print mediums and themes that can be curated to fit variable exhibition spaces. Each venue will need to provide adequate wall space and lighting for display.
