Exhibition Programs

The Nebraska Arts Council offers two visual arts exhibition program opportunities for Nebraska artists: the Fred Simon Gallery Exhibition program and the Governor's Residence Exhibition program. Select the links to the left to learn how to apply for these programs.

The Fred Simon Gallery presents the artwork of a select number of Nebraska artists in both solo and dual shows. The gallery is located in the Nebraska Arts Council offices in the historic Burlington building at 1004 Farnam Street, Lower Level, in Omaha. It is open daily during regular office hours, M-F from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Nebraska Arts Council and Nebraska Governor’s Residence partner to present the Nebraska Governor's Residence exhibition series. Artists who work in two-dimensional media are selected for solo exhibitions. Artwork is on display in the lower level conference room of the Residence.

The Nebraska Governor’s Residence is open for guided public tours on Thursdays from 1 – 4 pm. Contact the Residence Manager at 402/471-3466 to arrange for a tour that includes the opportunity to view this exhibition.
