Governor's Residence Exhibition Program
Each year, the Nebraska Governor’s Residence Exhibition Program provides exhibitions of Nebraska art on the walls of the main conference room of the Governor’s Residence.
The NAC partners with the Nebraska Governor's Residence to secure this prestigious venue for the display of artwork made by Nebraska artists. This unique space allows civic leaders, citizens, school children, and other visitors to the Residence the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the diversity of statewide artistic talent.
*NEW* Nebraska Governor's Residence Exhibition Program Artist Registry
The Nebraska Arts Council’s Governor’s Residence Exhibition Program underwent some significant changes this year. The program now selects artists from an artist registry rather than from the annual call for artists previously used. The registry will remain in place for two years, alleviating the need for artists to reapply to the program each year. In addition, exhibitions will now be two months in duration. Eligible artworks must be two-dimensional and suitable for hanging as a wall display, and small group shows will be considered. Inclusion on the registry does not guarantee selection for exhibition.
Artists selected for Governor's Residence shows in 2015/16 will be announced by mid-December, the selection panel schedule permitting. Please contact J.D. Hutton, Artist Services & Communications Manager, at email@example.com | 402.595.2142 with any questions.
