ASL Interpreters for the Arts Grants

Provide grants of up to $250 to Nebraska organizations to hire licensed American Sign Language interpreters for arts events, such as live music, dance or theatre performances, cultural events and exhibits at museums or other venues.

Priority will be given to organizations and communities that face challenges regarding access to arts or cultural programs due to geography, economic conditions, ethnic background or disability. Funds are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until all available funds are awarded.

Eligibility: Nebraska nonprofit organizations, subdivision of government, school or religious organization with appropriate legal status.

Grant Amount: $250 maximum

Deadline: At least four weeks prior to the event date.

Note: ASL Interpreters for the Arts grant applications are submitted via email. Complete the application and send as an email attachment from the organization's executive director or school's principal to NAC Grants.
