The Nebraska Arts Council partners with the Nebraska Governor’s Residence each year to display the artwork of Nebraska artists on the walls of the building’s main conference room. This unique space allows civic leaders, citizens, school children and other visitors the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the diversity of statewide artistic talent.

Photographs by Angela Carroll will be on display in the residence June 29 – August 19, with public hours on Thursdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. To request an appointment (recommended for groups of 10 or more), contact Residence Director Leisa Ausdemore at (402) 471-3466.

About the Artist: Lincoln-based Angela Carroll has been a photographer since 2010, specializing in landscape and nature photography. Her photos have been published in two local books, Seeking the Light and The Art and Architecture of the First Plymouth Church, and she is a contributing photographer for Nebraska Life magazine. In addition, her photography has been on display at The Landing Art Gallery (2013) and Red Path Gallery (2015), as well as the Lincoln Veterans Administrative Hospital (2014-2015) and Lincoln Internal Medicine Group medical facility (2015-2016) as part of Hildegard Center for the Arts outreach programs. Carroll is a member artist of Red Path Gallery in Seward, Nebraska, president of the Lincoln Camera Club, and volunteer and committee member for Hildegard Center for the Arts.
