Americans for the Arts (AFTA) released Arts & Economic Prosperity IV: Economic Impact of the Nonprofit Arts & Culture Industry on June 8, 2012. This national study is cited by AFTA as the most comprehensive of its kind, one which provides quantifiable economic impact of nonprofit arts and culture organizations and their audiences. The report spans the nation, with data from 182 regions representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Most significantly, the report provides data on the positive impact of the arts and culture industry in Nebraska.
