Public Art

Public art is everywhere. Often created in response to the place where it resides, public art can take the form of murals, sculptures, and even architectural work. It often interprets the history of the place and its people, and can occasionally address a social or environmental issue as well.

NAC is currently working on a database that will list an approximate 650 pieces of public art in Nebraska! This list will then be available to the public at Public Art Archive.
