Sarah Peetz began her career as an attorney practicing law in Sidney, Nebraska. She recently retired from the Lincoln Community Foundation where she directed grant distributions, implemented community initiatives and advised donors on charitable gift planning.
Sarah has been enriched by each Nebraska community in which she has lived, particularly her hometown of Newman Grove where she is active in her family’s farm operation. Her community involvement has included being a founding member of the Great Plains Arts Council in Sidney, serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate Guardian ad Litem in Columbus, and President of the Friends of Lied Board of Directors in Lincoln.
She currently serves as Lincoln Electric System Administrative Board Chair, is a Prairie Corridor on Haines Branch Cabinet Member and member of the Nebraska State Bar Association.
Sarah and her husband Jeff reside in Lincoln where they enjoy frequent visits from their four children and four grandchildren.
