Grants for the general public and schools provide funding that supports a variety of arts and arts education projects that are conducted online or in-person, with adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Arts Projects for the General Public includes funding for exhibitions, performances, poetry readings, or development of new artworks.
Arts Projects for Schools includes funding for workshops, classes, performances, or guided art tours.
Eligible applicants include federally tax-exempt nonprofit organizations incorporated in Nebraska, public agencies, and governmental sub-divisions. Organizations may submit up to one Arts Project Grant application per fiscal year.
Applications are on a floating deadline and are due at least six weeks prior to the project start date. Projects must be completed within Nebraska Arts Council’s fiscal year which ends in June.

$1,000 – 3,000. A detailed budget proposal is required. Arts Projects grants require a dollar-for-dollar match to the grant request.
