Fax Gilbert is an artist educator who has traveled the Midwest full-time for the past 20 years and presented over 3500 school assembly programs, residencies, teacher-in-services, community concerts, library programs, and keynoted many regional educational events. Fax's approach to teaching is to first excite students' interest through a lively all-school interactive assembly program featuring mime, masks, movement, magic illusions, and characters. Then students can't wait to learn! He focuses their enthusiasm into the creation of non-verbal mime skits which the students perform for the school/community. Another option is his 'Great Nebraska History Play' which students perform. Fax's purpose is to give students a positive experience performing. His classes are fun with lots of laughter and support to explore their abilities.
