Sarah Rowe's work as a visual artist is centered on creating inclusive space for shared reflection and healing. Her work is a call to action, engaging communities in daily mindfulness and play, experimenting with a variety of traditional and found natural art materials. Sarah works with a diverse community of artists and regularly exhibits her mixed media work in traditional and non-traditional arts spaces.  Her work is inspired by her Lakota and Ponca heritage.

Sarah’s experience as a teaching artist includes work with organizations such as WhyArts, the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska, and Joslyn Art Museum. She enjoys bringing unexpected projects into the classroom, and finds inspiration through use of everyday materials and nature together with her students. She can adapt projects to students of all ages and abilities.
