Mary Carrick is a versatile and dynamic vocalist and performing artist, who transitions between a wide spectrum of musical genres and styles. Known for her lush, expressive and shimmering voice, she’s a fearless singer with a gift for storytelling through song. Audiences remark on her artistry, her ability to capture the listener, and the charm and personality she brings to each performance. She draws the audience in from the first note. Mary performs a wide range of music, from great American standards, jazz and blues to inspired and unique arrangements of folk, country and classic pop. With a varied set of music by iconic songwriters, she creates programs that are inviting and cohesive, offering fresh takes on the familiar and bringing light to the rarely performed.
She's toured the Midwest, performed with Opera Omaha, the Omaha Symphony and Rose Theater, at Holland Performing Arts Center and Orpheum Theater, and for many other organizations and events, both in indoor and outdoor settings. She released her debut album Let’s Fly in 2014, featuring a collection of reimagined classic and contemporary songs.

Take a step back in time – and not quite so long ago - for an evening of some of music’s greatest torch songs from the American Songbook and spanning genres. Mary brings exquisite interpretations to capture the mood and tell the stories of songs that evoke emotion, tell tales of love, and touch the listener in a powerful way.

A HOLLY JOLLY HOLIDAY CABARET
Mary brings her dynamic vocals, charm, and theatrical flair to the stage for a nostalgic performance of festive favorites and familiar chestnuts, along with toe tapping holiday gems to make spirits bright.
Technical requirements: Well-lit stage area and ample stage space; recently tuned piano; sound system to accommodate the configuration (either piano/vocal or ensemble); sound and lighting operator. NOTE: Mary travels with a professional grade electric keyboard, if an acoustic piano is not available from the sponsor. If sound equipment is not available from the sponsor, Mary can provide for an additional cost.
Maximum negotiable fees: $1,800 for piano/vocal; $3,500 for The Mary Carrick Collective (Mary and her combo)
