Cabaret Theatre is entering its 29th season of performances throughout the Midwest. With stunning vocal jazz harmonies and sublime solo voices, the group has garnered an array of individual and ensemble awards for performances at area theaters and local events. Nominated as Best Cabaret, they have been recognized for their sophisticated arrangements of sensitive ballads, uptempo toe-tappers and jazz standards. Whether it’s the Great American Songbook, Broadway gems, or contemporary pop and cabaret, Cabaret Theatre’s versatility is matched only by their unique ability to connect with audience members.
All productions can be tailored to complement a specific event, occasion or holiday. Shows may include salutes to specific composers and/or artists, from Jobim to Carole King, Sinatra to Fitzgerald, Sondheim to the music of the Andrews Sisters. Cabaret Theatre offers a divine evening of song, complete with anecdotes and stories of the music and its magic.
The Council has received extremely positive feedback in regards to this group. As well as an excellent show, this group is very cooperative and willing to work with organizations. Their press packet is prompt and excellent. They are also very accessible and easy to reach over the phone (often and underestimated concern). Their interaction with the audience was notable and appreciated. We would enjoy working with this group again both for their artistic quality, and working relationship. Albion Area Arts Council
