Aiden James Poling
Aiden James Poling (he/him) is a versatile creative professional and teaching artist from Shreveport, Louisiana. He holds BFAs in both Theatre and Studio Art, two areas of study which have shaped his career across stage, film, directing, and design. Aiden has over 12+ years as a lead teaching artist across various sectors, including public schools, non-profits arts organizations, as well as his private studio. Aiden is passionate about utilizing his talents to assist in creating inclusive, accessible spaces where the arts can be enjoyed by folks of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
His vast experience in various areas of the arts equips him to offer engaging workshops and programming across multiple disciplines, including theatre (acting, movement, scene analysis, scenic and costume design), music (singing/voice), writing (poetry, song-writing) and visual art (drawing, painting, sculpting). His main goal is for his participants to feel empowered through the arts, creative culture, and the work they create.
