Katy Kepler
Katy Kepler is a multidisciplinary theatre artist with over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Katy specializes in collaborative theatre making and prioritizes a holistic and accessible approach throughout the creative process, encouraging her students to explore their unique strengths through honest connection and communication. Her flexible approach allows for learners of all abilities and styles to experience theatre in a safe, welcoming environment. Katy has taught the fundamentals of theatre such as acting, directing, dance, choreography, playwriting, improv, and stage management to all ages.
With a focus on neurodivergent populations, and as a neurodivergent artist herself, Katy specializes in sensory theatre and accessible immersive theatre. Her most recent sensory theatre piece, Beatwood Hollow, was created through a combination of independent work and script development workshops, ensuring that neurodiverse individuals ages 4 through adult were active contributors throughout the process.
