Event Description:
This long-awaited holiday show will feature more than 120-members performing fresh takes on seasonal classics as well as popular hits from Broadway and film. Musical selections include tunes from Polar Express, Dolly Parton’s “Hard Candy Christmas”, and Bette Midler’s “The Rose” in a mash-up with “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming,” among other favorites.
As always, expect the unexpected with brand new arrangements, RCMC’s fiery choral-ography, accompanying instrumental combo, and featured dancers. “Our first show on the Orpheum stage will be unlike any other holiday special you’ve ever seen,” said RCMC’s Artistic Director Dr. A. Barron Breland. “We know the Omaha community has waited a long time for us to return to the stage and we are planning a show worth the wait!” Following the concert, RCMC will host a reception in the Orpheum lobby that includes an opportunity for pictures with Santa Claus.
