The purpose of the new Arts Project Floating Deadline (APF FY21) grants is to provide funds that support a variety of arts and arts education projects that are conducted online or in-person, with adherence to health and safety guidelines.
There are two sub-categories of Arts Project Grants:
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include federally tax-exempt nonprofit organizations incorporated in Nebraska, public agencies and governmental sub-divisions. Organizations may submit up to one Virtual/Outdoor Arts Project Grant application for Fiscal Year 2021 (July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022).
Note: NAC Basic Support Grantees are eligible to apply only for the APF for Schools category.
Deadline: Applications are on a floating deadline and are due at least six weeks prior to the project start date. Projects must be completed within NAC Fiscal Year 2021, or by June 30, 2022.
Grant amounts: $1,000 - 3,000. A detailed budget proposal is required. APF grants require a dollar for dollar match to the grant request.
How to Apply: The applicant organization must first be registered in NAC’s online grant system. During the COVID-19 pandemic, NAC staff are primarily working remotely and can reached most efficiently via email.
