The purpose of Virtual Arts Project grants is to provide access to funds that support a variety of arts projects that are conducted online, without direct contact between participants, and to encourage ongoing arts programs for Nebraskans despite constraints due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Eligibility (updated December 2020): Nonprofit organizations incorporated in Nebraska that are federally tax-exempt, public agencies and sub-divisions of governmental agencies. Organizations may submit up to one Virtual Arts Project Grant application only if they did not submit a proposal in the August 17 deadline Competitive Recovery Grant category.
Grant Amounts: $1,000 - 3,000. A detailed budget proposal is required. Virtual Project grants do not require a cash match.
Deadlines: Applications have a floating deadline, and are due at least six weeks prior to the project start date. Projects must be completed within the current NAC fiscal year, or by June 30, 2021.
