Online Grant Panels

Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order 20-003, and due to the concerns related to the Coronavirus, grant review panel meetings are being conducted virtually. The meeting is being hosted on Zoom from the offices of the Nebraska Arts Council at 1004 Farnam Street in Omaha. Because of social distancing requirements, the meeting is closed to the physical attendance of the public, but the public will have the opportunity to attend virtually via live stream below, or via the agency Facebook page. A recording of this meeting will be made available on the agency website, and the public may make comment to info.nac@nebraska.gov.

This program supports arts programming, productions or events open to the general public. Support is limited to an arts project taking place within a defined period of time. The program or event may have multiple components and/or performances.

Arts Learning Project Grants Spring FY20

Wednesday, May 13th 9:30am

Programs with a strong educational emphasis that may take place in pre-K-12 schools or in community settings outside of schools. Projects should involve a sequential arts education curriculum. Projects that are based in schools must address Nebraska state educational learning standards in the arts and may also be aligned with standards in other disciplines.

 

Basic Support Grants Tier 2

This program provides annual general operating support to arts organizations across Nebraska that make important contributions to the vitality of our communities and cultural landscape of our state. Organizations must demonstrate excellent artistic, educational and cultural value, responsiveness to their community, credible planning and evaluation strategies, and a high level of financial and managerial accountability, including a history of successful NAC grantsmanship.
