William Frederick Buffalo Bill Cody (1846-1917) was an American scout, bison hunter and showman. He built his North Platte home and ranch during the heyday of his famous Wild West Show. Scout’s Rest encompasses 23 acres of the original ranch (including the house and barn) with another 233 acres in the adjacent state recreation area.

Student Ratio 1:15 adult to student ratio
Tour Info: Tour groups are limited to 15 students, but can accommodate up to four groups at a time. Average tour time is 60-90 minutes, includes house, grounds and barn.
Capacity/availability: Flexible and open for school groups by special appointment most weekdays.
