Join us in Scottsbluff for the Nebraska Panhandle Arts Conference

The Nebraska Arts Council is sponsoring the Panhandle Arts Conference, Thursday, July 25th, for arts professionals including artists, volunteers and administrators. The conference is designed to provide inspiration, networking opportunities, hands-on workshops, and artist showcases.

  • Pablo Picasso is one of the greatest artists of all time – and right up until his death in 1973 he was the most prolific of artists. Many films have dealt with these later years – the art, the affairs and the wide circle of friends. But where did this all begin? What made Picasso in the first place?

  • Travel Stipends

    Participants who must travel more than 100 miles from Scottsbluff are eligible for travel reimbursement.   For a vehicle traveling 100 to 200 miles from Scottsbluff, the reimbursement is $50.  For a vehicle traveling over 200 miles from Scottsbluff, the reimbursement will be $100. Individuals who are carpooling will receive a single reimbursement per vehicle. 
    To apply for reimbursement, a form will be available at the conference registration table.   Complete the form and submit it to a Nebraska Arts Council staff member.  Your reimbursement check will be mailed to you.
