Rachel Zelm

Business Manager

In her role as the Business Manager for the Nebraska Arts Council, Rachel serves as the administrative support for the agency and staff, including accounting, budget monitoring, procurement, database and payroll processing.  She also coordinates logistics for council and board meetings and assists staff members with travel arrangements.

Rachel holds a BA in Studio Arts with a minor in Art History from The University of Nebraska Omaha. Her previous experience includes working as the Arts and Crafts Director at Point O’Pines in upstate New York and working as the Customer Service Manager at the Nebraska Humane Society here in Omaha. Rachel has an artistic background in watercolor, mixed media collage, and papermaking, and she enjoys exploring the different works of local artists. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
