Explore Arts in Nebraska

Public art is everywhere. Sculptures, murals, and even certain architectural works are all prime examples of public art at work in our communities.

At its core, it provides a human touch to man-made environments and inspires a deeper understanding of where we live, work, and raise our families –– ultimately creating a lasting impact on our neighborhoods and shared spaces.

The Nebraska Creative Districts Program utilizes the arts as an economic driver to support communities in Nebraska by telling their stories and elevating the value of the arts. By curating designated creative zones, we can bring art to life in our communities.

In Nebraska, we are surrounded by creative outlets and individuals. Nebraska Arts Council uplifts this type of work throughout the state and within our programming. We offer a variety of programs aimed at a deeper understanding and appreciation of art in public areas.
