How to Apply

Nebraska Arts Council makes its biggest impact through the distribution of grants for arts projects and programming throughout the state. From small town festivals to professional productions at the Orpheum Theater, from an arts classroom in the Sandhills to an internationally recognized artist residency in Omaha – it’s more than likely that grant money from Nebraska Arts Council helped make it happen.

Because we are a state agency that receives funding from the Nebraska Legislature and National Endowment for the Arts, as well as Nebraska Cultural Endowment, grant recipients must follow a few simple guidelines with regards to our logo and compliance.

Final Reports
To ensure grant money is used appropriately, we also ask that grantees submit final reports no later than 30 days after the project end date. If your organization fails to do so, we may delay payments on current grants, and your eligibility for future grants may be jeopardized.

Be prepared to substantiate your final report with appropriate documentation, such as canceled checks, payroll records, sub-grant award documents and contractual agreements.
