Stephanie Plummer

Program Coordinator

As Program Coordinator for Nebraska Arts Council, Stephanie provides assistance to organizations served through the Nebraska Touring and Mini Grant Programs. Additionally, she assists the Program Specialist’s work with the Basic Support and Arts Projects Grants programs.

Her previous experience includes business administration and grants management at KANEKO as well as several years working with commercial and nonprofit arts organizations. While teaching at Bowling Green State University and University of Nebraska at Omaha, Stephanie helped people locate the connection between themselves, the arts, and their own personal history. She holds a Master’s degree in Popular Culture Studies and a Bachelor’s in Art History. Stephanie’s research interests include foodways and tradition, cultural preservation, and mass media. She enjoys writing poetry, sculpting and drawing and spending time with family and friends.
