Fremont Area Art Association Juried Theme Show: August 2024
This year’s theme is “Transformation”. Fremont Area Art Association members & non-members are invited to submit up to 2 entries, art will be judged on artistic merit and appropriateness based on the theme. Entry fees are ($15 for first entry, $5 for second entry) and an artist’s statement explaining the interpretation of the theme is required for each piece. 1st Place ($75) & 2nd Place ($50) will be awarded as well as the Viewer’s Choice Award ($75). Bring your dollars to vote for your favorite piece – $1 per vote! Honorable Mention winners will receive pride, not prize! Judge to be announced. Drop off your artwork on July 27th & 28th from 1-4 PM at Gallery 92 West (92 W. 6th Street, Fremont NE, 68025). Artists’ opening reception will be held on Friday, August 2, from 5-7 PM. This event is free and open to the public, we encourage all artists and their friends and family to join us!
The following rules apply to the show:

2-D Art – No larger than 40” x 40” (including the frame)
3-D Art – No larger than 30”w x 30”d x 72”h and no more than 50 lbs.
All hanging artwork must be “gallery ready” (screw-eyes and wire; no sawtooth hangers)
