Grand Island Creative District

Spanning across the unique and diverse Railside and 4th Street districts, Grand Island Creative District is a one-of-a-kind destination representing the vibrancy of our hometown. The district is a hub of community, culinary delights, and cultural richness.

Grand Island Creative District is home to HEAR GI, a ten-week summer concert series that features local, regional, and national arts. The district also comes alive during the 4th Street Festival, a celebration that includes boxing, Mexican wrestling, costumes, delicious food, Mariachi, and an abundance of art in various forms.

A visit to the Grand Island Creative District offers options for visiting galleries such as Studio 10 and Warehouse Galleries. Stroll through Railside’s Sculpture Walk, enjoy a movie at the historic Grand Theater, take in Harvest of Harmony, enjoy Fred’s Flying Circus, and create something of your own at the Happy Brush or Arts and Drafts. With historic architecture coupled with modern design, dance studios, and beautiful murals, our creative district offers something for everyone.

Indulging at The Grand Island Creative District is a journey around the world. 4th Streets offers Hispanic, Cuban, and Vietnamese flavors, while in Railside, you can enjoy a taste of Ireland, Germany, and traditional American fare, and you can even get creative with your sweets at Big Red Treats.
