2024 CAAP Artist Training Application

Thank you for your interest in the upcoming Creative Aging Arts Program (CAAP) artist training cohort. A limited number of artists will be selected for this training, which will be conducted by Carolyn Albracht, Ph.D. You must be available for online training December 16, 17, and 18 from 6-8 p.m. CST (5-7 p.m. MST).

Participants will also be expected to complete a sample series of sequential lesson plans and participate in a one-on-one curriculum online coaching session following this training, to be completed between December 20 and January 8.

Artists who complete the training sessions, prepare a multi-session lesson plan, and participate in a curriculum coaching session will be paid $400. This stipend includes $200 for training session participation and $200 for completion of a lesson plan and coaching.

The deadline to apply is November 1. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, so apply early! If you do not receive an immediate notification of receipt when you submit your application, please notify us at nac.info@nebraska.gov

Final approval of lesson plans and artist eligibility for the CAAP Teaching Artist Cohort will be determined by NAC. Approved artists will be listed on the NAC website and will be eligible to lead workshops funded through the CAAP grant program.
