Call for Artists – Surface Impressions: Coloratura

LUX and Constellation Studios present Surface Impressions: Coloratura, the fourth biennial exhibition of contemporary relief printmaking. This international juried exhibition features hand-produced relief prints, including woodblock, linoleum cut, wood engraving, and mixed media relief works by artists from across the world. The 2026 theme, Coloratura, emphasizes experimentation with color, layering, and surface, revealing how artists use relief processes to create bold visual impact and nuanced material expression. Prints in this exhibition are selected through an open call and juried by Janine Wong, a multidisciplinary artist, designer, and printmaker whose work explores color, systems, and abstraction.
