Christopher McLucas

Christopher is a native son of Omaha, Nebraska who works as a self-published writer and a creative writing teacher. He and several other artists have created The Asteroid House, a non-profit that provides sequential art programming in various mediums specializing in coursework for adults 55.

Christopher encourages students weather they are seasoned writers, new at writing, or anywhere in between. His eight week curriculum builds on literary techniques, daily practices and how to maintain a writing habit.

He co-founded the Legend Comics & Coffee creative workshop, has participated in the Seven Doctors Project, and been a student of the James Gunn Science Fiction Workshop, a six week program that elevates writers for professional and amateur career paths at the University of Kansas. These experiences have allowed Christopher to provide a challenging, inspiring and uplifting learning environment.
