Julia Noyes
Have you always wanted a mural for your school? Artist Julia Noyes can help your students create a 3′ x 5′ mural on a panel that can be attached to your wall. The mural imagery can originate from student artwork, art history, or local landmarks. Julia has facilitated more than 350 cooperative projects. She is organized, positive, motivating and professional. Kids and teachers love her, and she is available for one to nine-week residencies.
Julia earned her Master of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska Kearney, and she has traveled to countries throughout the world, furthering her studies in painting and art. She is the 2018 recipient of a Lincoln Mayor’s Art Award, and has many other awards and honors to her credit. Her painting “Duet” was selected for a purchase award for the Museum of Nebraska Art in 2018. Julia is an adjunct instructor of painting at Union College in Lincoln, and she is the owner of Noyes Art Gallery, which features work by nearly 100 artists.
