Will Hutchinson
Will Hutchinson is an award winning singer/songwriter who likes to stitch stories and songs together into a warm patchwork quilt called folk music. He plays fingerstyle and strums his acoustic J-45 guitar while singing heartfelt songs about his life and the world that has inspired him in his crisp tenor voice. Growing up in Lincoln, NE, Hutchinson also spent a number of years away performing and living in Los Angeles, California performing clubs like the Hotel Cafe, Witzend, and Room 5 and busking on the promenade in Santa Monica. Prior to California, while living and playing in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Hutchinson played on a number of college campuses in the region and notable clubs like The Varsity Theater, 7th Street Entry, and a number of outdoor music series around the Twin Cities. Now, back in his hometown of Lincoln, since 2013, Hutchinson has continued to write music and perform at around 100 public and private events per year. When not writing and performing, Hutchinson enjoys teaching guitar, traveling, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends.
Technical requirements: Outdoor performances will need to have shade covering provided by the event organizers for the artist during performance to help protect artist and equipment from heat and rain.
For small events with up to 150 people artist may provide own sound equipment. Event host will need to provide one 120 volt power outlet within 25 feet of performance location.
Events larger than 150 people outdoors will need to provide sound technician and professional sound amplifiers for performance.
